Genuine BMW part 34 41 2 425 874: Handbrake lever birchwood. The number stamped on the part is 34412425874; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2425874. You will find it on our Brakes shelf, under Parking brake. It supersedes the older number 2425875, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i and 328i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Individual handbrake lever w/wood handle (91_0097) and Individual handbrake lever w/wood handle (91_1398). It weighs about 844 g (1.9 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
