This is a genuine BMW handlebar board high, part number 32 71 1 240 620. The number stamped on the part is 32711240620; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1240620. It supersedes the older number 1238368, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 2303043.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 940 g (2.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
