The number stamped on the part is 11621427586; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1427586. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Exhaust manifold. It supersedes the older number 1740818, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M44, M52 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions. It also fits every E46 body style (320i, 2001–2005), with the M52 or M54 engines — and the European-market versions.
