Hinge, Splitdoor, primed, right — a genuine BMW part, number 41 54 2 757 542. The number stamped on the part is 41542757542; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2757542. It supersedes the older number 7167438, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Splitdoor (41_1829) and Trunk lid (41_2370). It weighs about 1.4 kg (3.0 lb).
