This is a genuine BMW hose, part number 11 72 7 837 591. The number stamped on the part is 11727837591; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7837591. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Secondary air system. It supersedes the older number 1402056, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 coupe (M3, 1995), with the S50 engine. It also fits the E46 coupe and convertible (M3, 2001–2006), with the S54 engine.
