Genuine BMW part 32 32 1 120 577: Housing, steering wheel lock. The number stamped on the part is 32321120577; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1120577. You will find it on our Steering shelf, under Other Steering parts. It supersedes the older number 1108975, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 13 diagrams, among them Steering Lock/Ignition Switch (32_0498) and Steering Lock/Ignition Switch (32_0499). It weighs about 218 g (0.5 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
