Genuine BMW part 07 41 7 203 297: Insert. The number stamped on the part is 07417203297; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7203297. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 41. It supersedes the older number 8225712, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E46 convertible and touring (323i, 325i, 330i and M3, 2000–2006), with the M52, M54, M56 or S54 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 7 diagrams, among them Upper Trunk Lid Trim Panel (51_2407) and Trim panel, trunk lid (51_3954).
