Genuine BMW part 51 16 8 209 149: Interior mirror, manual / LED / IR. The number stamped on the part is 51168209149; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8209149. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Mirrors, trims, storage compartments. It supersedes the older number 8209146, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 sedan (320i, 323i and 328i, 1999–2005), with the M52 engine — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Retrofit, outside mirror, electrochrome (03_0494) and Interior mirror (51_2268). It weighs about 550 g (1.2 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
