The number stamped on the part is 12527502039; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7502039. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 0304748, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 8 diagrams, among them MINI programmable basic control units (12_1131) and Programmed DME control unit MINI (12_1132). BMW lists the quantity used as “as required”.
