Genuine BMW part 31 21 1 092 080: King pin right. The number stamped on the part is 31211092080; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1092080. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Other Front Axle parts. It supersedes the older number 1136792, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i and 328i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 9 diagrams, among them Motorsport Chassis Spring Strut (31_0243) and Front Spring Strut/Shock Absorber (31_0417). It weighs about 2.9 kg (6.4 lb).
