Knee protector right — a genuine BMW part, number 51 45 7 115 936. The number stamped on the part is 51457115936; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7115936. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Covering, inner. It supersedes the older number 8201466, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i, 330i and M3, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54, M56 or S54 engines.
BMW draws it on the Knee protector (51_3664) diagram. It weighs about 30 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
