This is a genuine BMW lamp lens fog lamp right, part number 63 17 8 357 398. The number stamped on the part is 63178357398; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8357398. You will find it on our Lighting shelf, under Fog lights and auxiliary lights. It supersedes the older numbers 1387068 and 8357400, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Single parts, fog lights (63_0270) diagram. It weighs about 408 g (0.9 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
