Genuine BMW part 31 31 1 127 315: Left front spring strut. The number stamped on the part is 31311127315; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1127315. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Other Front Axle parts. It supersedes the older number 1127311, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 6 diagrams, among them Front Spring Strut/Shock Absorber (31_0109) and Front Spring Strut/Shock Absorber (31_0110). It weighs about 4.4 kg (9.6 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
