Genuine BMW part 07 11 9 934 624: Lock Ring. The number stamped on the part is 07119934624; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9934624. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 11. It supersedes the older number 9934626, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 and other engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 80 diagrams, among them S5D...G inner gear shifting parts (23_0128) and S5D...G inner gear shifting parts (23_0227). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted.
