Genuine BMW part 65 12 6 908 277: Locking bracket. The number stamped on the part is 65126908277; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6908277. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Radio, amplifier, CD player. It supersedes the older number 0152898, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 19 diagrams, among them Control units/curtains + amplifier (61_1798) and Amplifier / bracket (65_1120). It weighs about 20 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
