Lower belt with right belt tensioner — a genuine BMW part, number 72 11 6 982 520. The number stamped on the part is 72116982520; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6982520. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Parts and accessories, body parts. It supersedes the older number 7065848, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 9117240.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

It weighs about 620 g (1.4 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
