This is a genuine BMW navigation DVD computer, part number 65 90 6 983 065. The number stamped on the part is 65906983065; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6983065. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Navigation systems. It supersedes the older number 6983063, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 9122860.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 1.7 kg (3.8 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
