This is a genuine BMW non-return valve, part number 11 61 1 312 737. The number stamped on the part is 11611312737; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1312737. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Intake manifold system. It supersedes the older numbers 1277448 and 1363062, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and compact (318i, 318ti, 323i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M42, M43, M44, M52, S50 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions. It also fits the E46 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.
