This is a genuine BMW O-ring, part number 11 41 7 507 756. The number stamped on the part is 11417507756; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7507756. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Oil pump with strainer and drive. It supersedes the older number 7525315, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E46 body style (316i, 316ti, 318i and 318ti, 2001–2004), with the N40, N42, N45 or N46 engines.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Oil pump and compensating shaft unit (11_3190) and Lubrication system/Oil pump (11_3713). It also comes in BMW kit Gasket Set Engine Block Asbesto Free (7511529).
