What's Included

Genuine BMW part 17 22 2 245 358: O-ring. The number stamped on the part is 17222245358; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2245358. You will find it on our Cooling System shelf, under Oil cooler lines. It supersedes the older numbers 0154348 and 2245036, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (M3, 1995–1999), with the S50 engine — and the European-market versions. It also fits the E46 coupe and convertible (M3, 2001–2006), with the S54 engine.

BMW draws it on 56 diagrams, among them Engine Oil Cooling (17_0091) and Transmission Oil Cooling/Cooling Coil (17_0098). It also comes in BMW kit Set of sealing and fastening parts (0152361).
