Operating instructions — a genuine BMW part, number 01 29 0 141 892. The number stamped on the part is 01290141892; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0141892. It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 and other engines — and the European-market versions. It also fits the E46 sedan and coupe (316i, 1999–2004), with the M43, N40, N42 or N45 engines.
