It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M42, M44, M50, M52, S50 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Safety Belt Adjuster (72_0201) diagram. BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 13 g (under 0.1 lb).
