This is a genuine BMW painted trunk lid grip, part number 51 13 0 403 479. The number stamped on the part is 51130403479; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0403479. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older number 0007436, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 touring (325i, 2001–2005), with the M54 engine — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Single Components for Trunk Lid (41_1318) diagram. It weighs about 330 g (0.7 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
