Photos coming soon
This is a genuine BMW pedal sensor, part number 12 72 1 730 478. The number stamped on the part is 12721730478; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1730478. It supersedes the older number 1722520, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1730907.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 280 g (0.6 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
