Genuine BMW Part

Pinion — a genuine BMW part, number 23 00 2 343 481. The number stamped on the part is 23002343481; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2343481. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Manual gearbox parts. It supersedes the older number 2343335, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 2343191.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 222 g (0.5 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
