05 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→Pipe — a genuine BMW part, number 11 53 2 246 689. The number stamped on the part is 11532246689; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2246689. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Thermostat and coolant lines. It supersedes the older number 2246716, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan and touring (325td and 325tds, 1991–1996), with the M51 engine.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Cooling System Water Hoses (11_1163) and Cooling System Water Hoses (11_1550). It weighs about 190 g (0.4 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
