The number stamped on the part is 13411402890; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1402890. You will find it on our Air Intake shelf, under Other Fuel preparation and control parts. It supersedes the older number 1401891, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan, coupe and convertible (M3, 1995), with the S50 engine.
BMW draws it on the Idle Regulating Valve (13_0583) diagram. BMW's catalog calls for six of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 11 g (under 0.1 lb).
