06 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW plate, part number 33 52 1 091 427. The number stamped on the part is 33521091427; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1091427. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Other Rear Axle parts. It supersedes the older number 1125077, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 compact (318ti, 1995–1999), with the M42 or M44 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 10 diagrams, among them Single Components for Rear Spring Strut (33_0324) and Single Components for Rear Spring Strut (33_0325). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 46 g (0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
