13 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→Plug — a genuine BMW part, number 51 71 8 195 651. The number stamped on the part is 51718195651; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8195651. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older numbers 2121287 and 8118630, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and compact (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i and 328i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 16 diagrams, among them Front Door-Hinge/Door Brake (41_0842) and Door weatherstrip, front (41_0852).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
