Portuguese owner's handbook — a genuine BMW part, number 01 49 9 791 499. The number stamped on the part is 01499791499; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9791499. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Other Technical Literature parts. It supersedes the older number 9790889, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 0002584.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
