The number stamped on the part is 51127397601; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7397601. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Door, rear. It supersedes the older number 7397600, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on the M trim panel, rear (51_7463) diagram. It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
