The number stamped on the part is 11511722567; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1722567. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Coolant pump with drive. BMW has since replaced it with 1740512.
It fits the E36 sedan, coupe and convertible (320i and 325i, 1992–1995), with the M50 engine.
BMW draws it on the Cooling System-Fan/Fan Coupling (11_6016) diagram. BMW lists the quantity used as “as required”. It weighs about 222 g (0.5 lb).
