This is a genuine BMW pulley, part number 12 31 1 362 465. The number stamped on the part is 12311362465; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1362465. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Alternator with motor and mounting. It supersedes the older number 1357769, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 23 diagrams, among them Alternatormounting Parts (12_0157) and Generator, individual parts (12_0163). It weighs about 300 g (0.7 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
