It supersedes the older number 9060614, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 9405379.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 and other engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 15 diagrams, among them Audio-System with CD-Changer (03_1237) and Audio-System with CD-Changer (03_1238). It weighs about 1.3 kg (3.0 lb).
