Retrofit kit, TV function — a genuine BMW part, number 65 50 0 397 412. The number stamped on the part is 65500397412; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0397412. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Navigation system. It supersedes the older number 0143549, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E46 sedan and coupe (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i, 330i and M3, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or S54 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on the Retrofit kit, TV function (03_2439) diagram. It weighs about 2.1 kg (4.7 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
