The number stamped on the part is 32416796391; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6796391. You will find it on our Steering shelf, under Other Steering parts. It supersedes the older number 6751250, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 sedan and touring (325xi and 330xi, 2001–2005), with the M54 engine — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Hydro Steering-Oil Pipes (32_0958) and Hydro Steering-Oil Pipes (32_1629). It weighs about 270 g (0.6 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
