Genuine BMW part 83 12 2 298 275: Rim cleaner set. The number stamped on the part is 83122298275; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2298275. You will find it on our Car Care & Detailing shelf, under Body / sealing, insulating materials. It supersedes the older number 0412746, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 2288913.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 545 g (1.2 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
