Rivet — a genuine BMW part, number 07 12 9 948 750. The number stamped on the part is 07129948750; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9948750. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 12. It supersedes the older number 0141052, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 30 diagrams, among them Front Door-Window Frame/Mounting Parts (41_1161) and Front body (41_1384). It also comes in BMW kit Electric parts for marten protection (9415395).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
