04 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→Roller bearing — a genuine BMW part, number 23 12 1 207 402. The number stamped on the part is 23121207402; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1207402. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Bearing in housing, sealing rings. It supersedes the older number 1205086, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 6 diagrams, among them Getrag 235 Cover+attach.Parts (23_0620) and Getrag 235 Gear Wheel Set Parts (23_0623). It weighs about 232 g (0.5 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
