What's Included

This is a genuine BMW screw plug with gasket ring, part number 24 11 7 552 351. The number stamped on the part is 24117552351; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7552351. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Gearbox housing, oil sump. It supersedes the older numbers 0418433 and 1422516, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M50, M52, S50 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions. It also fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.
