The number stamped on the part is 12521732592; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1732592. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 0412454, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 14 diagrams, among them GA6F21WA mounting parts/gaskets (24_1063) and GA6F21WA mounting parts/gaskets (24_1238). BMW lists the quantity used as “as required”. It also comes in BMW kits Repair kit, socket housing (2360041) and Repair kit, socket housing (2360041) and 7 more.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
