Genuine BMW part 51 71 1 922 189: Sealing sheet. The number stamped on the part is 51711922189; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1922189. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older numbers 0151093, 0305613 and 1916299, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits the E36 touring (316i, 318i, 318tds, 320i, 323i, 325tds and 328i, 1994–1997), with the M41, M43, M51 or M52 engines. It also fits the E46 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 42 diagrams, among them Trunk Lid/Closing System (41_0025) and Single Components for Trunk Lid (41_1367).
