The number stamped on the part is 25117571899; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7571899. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Gearshift. It supersedes the older number 1220379, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i and 328i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 128 diagrams, among them BMW Performance gearshift, man. gearbox (03_2814) and BMW Performance gearshift, man. gearbox (03_2815). It also comes in BMW kits Installing set gear lever kinematic (0430355) and Installing set gear lever kinematic (0430357) and 10 more.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
