This is a genuine BMW selector rod with joint, part number 25 11 7 524 337. The number stamped on the part is 25117524337; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7524337. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Gearshift. It supersedes the older number 7512123, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E46 body style (320d and 320td, 2001–2004), with the M47N engine.

BMW draws it on the Gear shifting, mech.transm./diesel (25_0354) diagram. It weighs about 340 g (0.7 lb).
