Genuine BMW part 11 13 7 551 825: Self-locking hex bolt. The number stamped on the part is 11137551825; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7551825. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Oil pan. It supersedes the older number 7522944, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E46 body style (316i, 316ti, 318i and 318ti, 2001–2004), with the N40, N42, N45 or N46 engines.

BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Oil Pan/Oil Level Indicator (11_3174) and Oil Pan/Oil Level Indicator (11_3694). BMW's catalog calls for 20 of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 20 g (under 0.1 lb).
