Self-locking hex nut — a genuine BMW part, number 07 11 9 915 702. The number stamped on the part is 07119915702; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9915702. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 11.
It fits the E46 sedan and touring (320d, 1998–2000), with the M47 engine.
BMW draws it on 12 diagrams, among them Lubrication system/Oil pump with drive (11_1477) and Lubrication system/Oil pump with drive (11_4922). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It also comes in BMW kit Retrofit kit, spoiler (2486060).
