What's Included

Self-locking hex nut — a genuine BMW part, number 11 72 1 742 644. The number stamped on the part is 11721742644; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1742644. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Secondary air system.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and compact (318i, 318ti, 323i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M44, M52 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions. It also fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.
