Genuine BMW part 54 21 0 016 011: Set, adapter, hardtop. The number stamped on the part is 54210016011; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0016011. You will find it on our Exterior Body shelf, under Other Sliding Roof / Folding Top parts. It supersedes the older numbers 8265769 and 8265770, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E46 convertible (323i, 325i, 330i and M3, 2000–2006), with the M52, M54 or S54 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Hardtop (03_2706) and Hardtop adapter for variable softtop com (03_2709). It weighs about 2.7 kg (6.0 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
