Genuine BMW part 11 24 7 589 535: Set connecting rod. The number stamped on the part is 11247589535; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7589535. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Connecting rod with bearing. It supersedes the older number 7536189, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW draws it on the Crankshaft Connecting Rod (11_3185) diagram. It weighs about 2.2 kg (4.8 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
