This is a genuine BMW set mounting parts pipe 45MM, part number 18 21 9 057 722. The number stamped on the part is 18219057722; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9057722. You will find it on our Exhaust shelf, under Other Exhaust system parts. It supersedes the older numbers 1177666 and 1177926, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Exhaust Pipe Front (18_0106) and Exhaust Pipe Front (18_0107). It weighs about 540 g (1.2 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
